Rather than separating them into categories, I read your base, your skin and your routine, then place the tone precisely where it will flatter you — often blending two or three reflections in the same head of hair for depth that moves in the light.

- The most luminous of the family. Bright, glossy and reflective — it reads expensive under any light and suits warm, golden skin.
- Ginger
- Softer and honeyed, closer to a natural redhead. Perfect for a first step into red, since it grows out gently.
- Terracotta & cinnamon
- Earthy, muted reds with a hint of brown. Quietly sophisticated and the easiest to maintain day to day.
- Cherry & garnet
- Cool, deep and dramatic. They flatter fair or cool complexions and give a polished, editorial finish.
